Scope

These rules apply to the current online weekly live class and one-to-one course. Orders placed before October 1, 2026 follow the agreement at purchase and applicable law. Previously confirmed rights are preserved.

Within 7 days, before use

Within 7 calendar days of purchase, you may request a full refund, including tax collected on the order, if you have not used the newly purchased paid services.

What counts as starting

Watching a class replay, or attending a weekly live class, private lesson or consultation included in this purchase counts as starting. Payment, access activation or booking alone does not count. Using a weekly class bought earlier does not count as using a later one-to-one purchase.

After learning begins

Once you start using the services, change-of-mind refunds are generally unavailable. Weekly classes and replays remain available during your membership. The one-to-one course includes one 150-minute live online private lesson and three one-hour consultations within 90 days after it ends.

Before your private lesson

Within 90 days of buying the one-to-one course, if your private lesson has not happened yet, you can request a refund even if you have attended weekly classes: we keep the weekly-class portion (CAD $99 + tax) and refund the rest.

If the weekly class stops

If the weekly class is discontinued, you will get at least 30 days’ notice and a refund for the unused part of your membership.

Non-delivery or duplicate payment

If a course cannot be supplied as agreed, a payment is duplicated or access remains unavailable, contact Andy to investigate and resolve it. An appropriate refund is handled according to the circumstances and is not restricted by the change-of-mind rule above.

How to apply

Email andy@dayofdesign.ca from your registration email, identifying the order, purchased course and issue. Fees are collected through Stripe by our partner 58Home; approved refunds return to the original payment method. Arrival time depends on the payment provider and bank.

Your statutory rights

These arrangements do not limit cancellation, refund or other consumer rights provided by applicable law.

AI for business (Day of Design)

AI for business is provided by Andy’s studio, Day of Design Inc., and priced separately from the courses: CAD $3,495 / month plus applicable taxes, billed as a monthly subscription. Pausing or stopping: just let us know ahead of time; it takes effect monthly, and workflows and files stay in your own accounts. Refunds: fees for completed work are typically non-refundable unless stated otherwise; cancellation follows the agreed service terms. Third-party software, APIs, advertising and printing are billed separately. The full Day of Design terms apply.
